My name is Ahmed. I’m a .NET developer with at least 4 years of IT experience and I studied and graduated in the field of Computer science in Nigeria.
I am currently working with C#, .Net frameworks and SQL using Microsoft visual studio 2019 and also SQL management studio (SSMS). I currently have experience working with frontend and backend technologies.
For my backend, I work with C# and .NET frameworks (which includes .NET core, ASP.NET core MVC, ASP.NET web API, ADO.NET, LINQ, Identity framework core). For testing my API, I make use of Postman and swagger for documentation.
For the front end, I have some experience working with Angular 13 and typescript, I’ve also been privileged to work with React at some point in time. I also make good use of some CSS libraries such as bootstrap and tailwind.
For database, I have extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL server (SQL), PostgreSQL, MySQL and some NOSQL databases such as Firebase and MongoDB.
For version control systems, I make use of Git and GitHub, Bitbucket and TFS (Team Foundation server, AKA Azure DevOps)
I’ve also made extensive use of Jira and confluence for collaboration and documentation. And also made use of Team city and Octopus deploy for building pipelines, CI/CD and deploying codes to different environments.
I have been privileged to work with different teams with varying team sizes and setups (mostly remote), making use of Teams, Google meet, symphony, Webex and so on for communication. I’ve worked with teams adopting the Agile methodology where we have our sprints bi-weekly (every two weeks), retrospectives once a month, and PI planning quarterly.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a couple of senior engineers, who I can look up to in the team when I have any doubts or concerns. I’ve also worked with some other junior engineers and some new employees to whom I’ll have to give a tour or walkthrough of the current project we’re working on, the codebases and every other aspect of the system which I’m familiar with.
