Your key area of focus:
A good CI/CD pipeline helps our engineers deliver features quickly, efficiently, and safely to production. A Senior Developer Tooling Engineer at Sendwave aims to apply the same principles to our tooling that supports our wider engineering organization.
Youโll be working on automating complex processes, reducing manual steps in day-to-day workloads, improving infrastructure health visibility, and improving our engineers' delivery of code. You'll take on the burden of managing how software gets delivered to production and ensuring that our infrastructure just works. In short, youโll provide leverage for the other engineers at Sendwave to continue making sending money as easy and simple as sending a text.
In the first few months, youโll:
Work on improving our development tools and experience so that engineers can ship work faster.
Build tools to help increase visibility into more opaque processes and pipelines.
Create automation for manual tasks, or workflows that span multiple different sources.
Explore and evaluate third-party or in-house solutions for complex process problems.
Participate in an on-call rotation to handle problems outside of business hours so that our system is always available to our users
Uncover bottlenecks in our software delivery process and improve them.
What you bring to the table:
3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Software Development, or an equivalent field.
Experience working closely with key stakeholders across an organization's development, operations, and business units.
2+ years working with AWS or Google Cloud.
Proficient in code deployment tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
Experienced with scripting (Bash, Python)
Experience working with Git and other CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Your key area of focus:
To achieve our mission, we need to make sure our app is easy to use for every interaction from signup to sending to editing info to resetting your password. Youโll work closely with our Head of Product to fix highly impactful user problems and A/B test interface changes to make the experience even smoother and quicker. Your key areas of focus :
If youโve ever seenย The Tinder Swindlerย ,ย FYRE, orย The Wizard of Liesย you know fraud is an infinitely repeating social struggle that leaves the most vulnerable to pay the price. The Risk team at Sendwave builds and supports everything needed to aggregate the individual fraud cases and stop the scheme from ever being lucrative for the fraudster.
This includes integration of vendor tools, training new fraud/anomaly detection algorithms, supporting our risk operations teams, and improving our monitoring capabilities. Youโll leverage your Data-to-Insights skills to develop accurate, targeted defenses that remove fraud from our platform.
In your first few months youโll:
Set KPIs and scope constraints for new modeling projects to decrease our information lag between fraud happening and us receiving feedback of its presence.
Develop heuristics to quickly fight fraud.
Identify missing tooling and suggested verification actions to help our risk representatives make sense of the systemโs decision to block and correctly assess the situation.
Evaluate and spec out integrations for new data sources for our fraud detection algorithms.
Diligently work to lower false-positive rates
Develop strategies to detect previously unseen patterns that may indicate a new fraud attack.
Develop strategies and tools to help less technical individuals develop fraud-fighting heuristics.
Automate the training and deployment of updated models.
Develop a new anomaly detection algorithm, helping us spot strange behavior before a chargeback occurs.
Help build experiments to evaluate new models, third-party data sources, and tooling.

What you bring to the table:
4+ years of professional experience training and deploying models.
At least 3 years creating production models or building analysis in the industry

Your key area of focus
To achieve our mission, we need to make sure our app is easy to use โ for every interaction, from signup to sending, to editing info, to resetting passwords. Youโll work closely with our Product team to fix highly impactful user problems, and A/B test interface changes โ to make the experience even smoother and quicker. Youโll eventually become one of the primary code owners of our iOS app. Youโll also become a go-to person when another team member needs help with a difficult iOS problem. Beyond iOS youโll be working across client and server, looking at the broader picture, providing end-to-end solutions.
In your first few months, you'll...
Advise other engineers on iOS development questions and challenges.
Assist with prioritizing efforts to refactor existing code to use modern best practices.
Supervise and oversee technical aspects of development projects.
Work with other teams within Sendwave to solve business problems.
Streamline in-app signup and verification flows.
Set up A/B tests to measure the impact of your work.
Help us build a top-tier referral program, to help users share their love of Sendwave with their friends.
What you bring to the table...
5 - 7 years professional experience as a full stack or mobile engineer.
Significant experience working with iOS. You donโt need to have every detail of the iOS environment memorised โ but should have a strong foundation, so you can figure out those details when needed.
Familiarity with both Objective C and Swift.
Work authorization for the country where your role is based.

Have previously worked on a growth team.
