Reporting to the Content Design Manager, youโll build intuitive content experiences alongside product owners, engineers, marketing leads, and our brand studio. We canโt wait to build the future of fair chance hiring, together. \n\nLearn more about our team at design.checkr.com. \n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\nParticipate as an equal partner in the product development process, from early research and concepts to final mocks and launch\n\nCreate, socialize, and evolve content standards and best practices\n\nCo-develop product strategy in order to reduce the complexity of background checks \n\nWrite in-product copy, emails, and internal resources to make the hiring process clearer and more approachable \n\nPartner with Product and Engineering to define content requirements, understand limitations, and develop solutions \n\nContribute to and socialize our product writing style guide\n\nIdentify opportunities where content can play a larger role in meeting user goals\n\nPartner with research to understand user needs and inform content choices\n\nCollaborate with our brand studio team to keep product and marketing materials consistent and compelling\n\nInfluence how Checkr approaches content design across all customer touchpoints \n\nPut the user first, always and without exception \n\n\n\n\nWho you are:\n\n\nExcited about improving employment opportunities for people with criminal histories\n\nA passionate champion for the user who incorporates business considerations into your design and content goals\n\nInterested in influencing the broader design function at Checkr\n\nUnderstands the importance of using data to inform content\n\nAble to synthesize insights across customers to inform overall strategy\n\nOpen to feedback and mentorship\n\n\n\n\nWhat you have:\n\n\n3+ years of content design and UX writing experience\n\nExperience working across teams to build clear, effective content that reaches user and business goals\n\nA solid portfolio of relevant work, including features/products that have shipped\n\nExperience with design tools like Figma, Miro, Whimsical, etc.\n\nFamiliarity with product management tools like Atlassian (Confluence, Jira)\n\n\n\n\nWhat you get\n\n\n* A fast-paced and collaborative environment\n\n* Learning and development allowance\n\n* Competitive compensation and opportunity for advancement\n\n* 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage\n\n* Up to 25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning services\n\n* Flexible PTO policy\n\n* Monthly wellness stipend, home office stipend\n\n\n\n\nThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
