The role will be reporting into the Head of Data.\n\nAlthough we are headquartered in Gibraltar, this is a full time, 100% remote position. Work from anywhere!\n\n \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* \n\nDrive the research efforts - internal and in collaboration with partners - required to deliver the insights to shape our go to market strategy and fuel our product growth.\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with the Strategy and Product organisations to define research plans to inform decision making and improve the understanding of markets and customers.\n\n\n* \n\nDrive the development and implementation of the Xapo Research Strategy.\n\n\n* \n\nUnderstand and solve business problems by conducting both primary (e.g. surveys, in-depth interviews, jobs-to-be-done interviews) and secondary (e.g. literature reviews, data analysis) research.\n\n\n* \n\nSynthesize research findings and communicate them to the key stakeholders in straightforward, practical and engaging ways. Translate them into clear and actionable recommendations.\n\n\n* \n\nWork closely with the Data Team to give quantitative context to qualitative research and to add qualitative context to behavioural patterns observed in data.\n\n\n* \n\nMaintain, grow and cultivate our research repository.\n\n\n* \n\nEnsure your findings have a measurable and positive impact on the organization's goals and define means of measuring that impact.\n\n\n* \n\nAssist with developing the ideal customer profile and customer personas. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* \n\nMastery of conceptualisation and execution of research studies with speed and at scale.\n\n\n* \n\nAbility to confidently communicate research findings complemented by actionable recommendations.\n\n\n* \n\nExceptional ability to collect, structure, organise and synthesize different types of data and information.\n\n\n* \n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, empathy and attention to details.\n\n\n* \n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\n\n* \n\nA background in cognitive science, behavioural economics, or psychology is preferable.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with the jobs-to-be-done framework is preferable.\n\n\n* \n\nCrypto market knowledge and an interest in finance/fintech.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience with cross-cultural products and international research.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nOther requirements:\n\n\n* \n\nA dedicated workspace \n\n\n* \n\nA reliable internet connection with the fastest speed possible in your area\n\n\n* \n\nDevices and other essential equipment that meet minimal technical specifications\n\n\n* \n\nAlignment with Our Values.\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
