We are looking for a Newsletter Producer to support audience growth efforts across social platforms.ย Successful candidates will be proactive and detailed with strong creative and analytical skills. This role will be part of AFARโs Audience Development team and is a great opportunity to gain email and content strategy skills for a fast-growing travel media brand.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop new ideas based on competitive email trends and the behavior of AFARโs audience\nParticipate in regular brainstorming sessions to optimize campaign performance and newsletter template\nManage all of AFARโs newsletter lists and segments, representing the best interests of readers and partners and ensuring we are meeting their needs, while helping the marketing team execute on partner campaigns. \nManage, build and optimize copy for all paid and organic editorial email campaigns\nCollect assets, manage and build all sponsored email campaigns.\nLiaise with the marketing team to maintain an asset collection schedule for sponsored emails.\nSupport growth acquisition efforts such as sweepstakes, email prompt testing, referral rewards program, and partnerships.\nCollect and document sponsored email data/results.ย \nData collection and reporting on best practices for all email campaigns.\nMonitor reader feedback.\n\nYou will be successful here by:\nMaintaining a close eye on performance and methods to improve our email efforts\nWorking with the Senior Audience Development Manager and various email stakeholders at AFAR to become a leader at cultivating rich and vibrant brand engagement across all campaigns.\nBeing detail-oriented and highly focused on the task at hand, and not being afraid to ask questions or welcome feedback.\nBringing fresh and exciting ideas forward that challenge conventional thinking.\n\nThe right candidate will:\nHave 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing\nBe extremely detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative\nBe interested in learning about content marketingย \nHave excellent time management skills\nBe comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment\nHave a working knowledge of Google Analytics, Photoshop, Canva a plus\nBe passionate about travel and travel journalism\nPreferably have a Bachelorโs Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business, or equivalent experience\n\nThis is an exempt role with a salary range of $65k-75k\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
