It needs you.\n\n\n\n\nFor further details about the role, please see the full job description HERE.\n\n\n\n\nIn this role you will:\n\n\n* \nWork with others to develop global campaign strategies that can give strategic steer and incubate food & forest campaigns, together with our NROs.\n\n* \nSupport relevant NRO efforts to develop campaigns and support their implementation with technical and strategic advice, preparation of campaign outputs, liaising with external processes and/or allies, etc.\n\n* \nOrganize internal webinars, training, and other forums on emerging food issues that are relevant to our biodiversity and climate-related campaigns.\n\n* \nFollow key developments and regularly summarise these to our campaigners.\n\n* \nIdentify, commission, and coordinate external research, investigation, and analysis, to support global campaign project goals.\n\n* \nPrepare external and internal reports, policy positions, fact sheets, and briefings in support of campaign objectives.\n\n* \nBring a positive and โcan doโ attitude to a multicultural team with different expertise and skill sets.\n\n\n<br/><br/>\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n\n* \nSubstantial relevant professional experience and expertise in the field of food and agriculture, at the international level, no matter if at NGOs, companies, or public institutions.\n\n* \nWell versed experience with food, land, and agriculture issues (especially in the Global South), as well as forest, land-use and indigenous rights issues.\n\n* \nUnderstanding of the complexity of food systems and how they operate in terms of political and economic power dynamics (including colonisation), beliefs that sustain them, and how change can be triggered.\n\n* \nProven ability to quickly and accurately grasp new and sophisticated concepts and develop them into campaign strategies, especially using system dynamics.\n\n* \nExperience with political strategies and advocacy either at the national, regional, or multinational level.\n\n* \nBasic understanding of audience-centric campaigns (there is no need to be a communication expert).\n\n* \nAbility to identify and instigate research, investigation and analysis, to support global campaign project goals.\n\n* \nAbility to value and promote diversity, with experience in an international and multicultural environment.\n\n* \nAbility to build strong interpersonal relationships, showing empathy and kindness working with cross-cultural and global teams.\n\n* \nAbility to work independently in a flat organizational structure, where everybody is encouraged to take leadership roles and tasks.\n\n* \nHave a real passion for food, agriculture and for helping farmers, especially smallholders.\n\n* \nYou are fluent in English, and preferably one other language, and you have substantial multicultural experience.\n\n* \nDemonstrable support for and belief in Greenpeaceโs core aims and values.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will get:\n\nYou will join a team of highly passionate and committed campaigns and issue experts, working hard to transform the way humans interact with the natural world around us.
