We leverage human-centered design and business value expertise to build experiences that support our members in their longitudinal health journey. Youโll have the opportunity to shape the user experience for our D2C & B2B2C members, as well as for our providers.\n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\nHire and manage other product designers\n\nHelp evolve the EPD team by giving domain/industry expertise and supporting recruiting efforts\n\nLead, coordinate and run one or more tracks of work independently or in conjunction with key project team members\n\nConduct discovery activities to define high-level user journeys identifying key features and capabilities needed\n\nProduce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specs to communicate detailed designs and solutions to guide development sprints\n\nUse documentation, reviews, and presentations to communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders\n\nChampion the user throughout the build by continually promoting human-centered design methods, including research, validation, and the inclusion of user feedback\n\nWork with multidisciplinary teams and consistently promote active collaboration, co-creation and continual alignment while building close relationships with customers and key collaborators\n\nEngage and partner with external clients and other partners when required\n\nCreate designs that promote flexibility and configurable methodologies before custom solutions\n\nConduct design validation and/or user testing with end-users\n\nIdentify and resolve and/or raise issues and conflicts within the project team\n\nGenerate detailed final design specs that inspire accurate developer builds\n\nWork with technical teams and quality experts to deliver a polished final product\n\nPromote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns\n\nCreate expansive designs for all users; advocate for accessibility, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes\n\nContinually strive to set a higher standard for the overall quality of design and design artifacts\n\n\n\n\nWhat youโll need:\n\n\n7+ years of experience designing and delivering exceptional experiences from start to finish, as part of a cross-functional team\n\n1-3 years management experience\n\nExperience leading teams of designers and/or tracks of work - driving key design activities as it applies to large scale, programmatic implementations\n\nDeep understanding and experience of design thinking as well as agile methodology and best practices\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment while producing high quality detailed designs on tight deadlines\n\nSelf-motivation; ability to produce results both independently and as part of a team\n\nStrong communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships\n\nExperience using multiple approaches, including analytics and user research, to drive decisions and develop design iterations\n\nAbility to distill and reframe problems, then define a framework for resolution, generating clear, elegant solutions for sophisticated challenges\n\nAbility to influence, refine and iterate based on the findings and being open to receive and offer constructive feedback\n\nSystems thinking;
